Casey LOVED Disneyland!

We drove to Los Angeles this past weekend and visited Disneyland on Sunday and Monday. Casey loved the rides, the characters and the toys & lollipops. He was sad when it was over, so were we. Although our legs said we were done waiting in lines, our hearts said we could have stayed a few more days. There was so much we still wanted to do and see. Guess we will have to go again soon. A few highlights from the trip:

~ Meeting Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Woody, Minnie and Aladdin & Jasmine
~ "Fixing" the Fairy Godmother's magic wand. She approached Casey at the parade, it was way cool!
~ Casey was called up on stage to play the part of Jafar in the Aladdin show!
~ Going on the tea-cups, alice in wonderland and the Buzz Lightyear ride twice!
~ Eating at the Blue Bayou

And so much more!!

New skates for Casey!

We got Casey his first pair of skates last night. He saw a pair of toddler Little Tikes roller blades and he had to have them. He had been asking for skates for awhile, but I was nervous about helping him learn how to use them. I didn't want to spend time in the emergency room. Casey was so excited to try them out. We put them on and he practiced on the rug and he did great! Then he started circling around the kitchen, dining room and living room while holding on to walls and chairs. He loves his skates! He was so excited about playing with them that he ate his entire dinner so he could put them back on. This is pretty amazing because my kid that doesn't have much interest in food. Casey has decided that his Mom and Dad should have a pair too...so look for future Bruce family skating pics.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! I sure am one lucky lady! I have two amazing men in my life. My husband Pedar is the most caring, patient and hardworking man I know. Not to mention he is super hunky!!

My son Casey is sweet, funny and loving. He loves to cuddle with me every night. He says the nicest things to me. "I like your hair Mommy, I like your hands, I like your shirt, I like your eyes," and so on. A girl could get used to this kind of adoration.

I hope you all feel a bit adored today. I adore you!!!
